Angel Wings

For the first time ever, I opened up my computer logged onto Facebook, saw the first post, closed my computer, and went into my bathroom and cried. One of my dear friends from chorale, Carrie Doerr ,lost her daughter, Eva, around 3am. Eva had Trisomy 18. She was just over a month old. This news broke my heart. As you can see from my picture on the left Eva was baptized by her father. This was so important to many people in Eva's life. We now know Eva will have no more suffering as she is in Jesus' arms in Heaven.

I put my kids to bed tonight with an extra hug. Thanking God that They are here, and healthy, and safe. I am also feeling down. I all of a sudden began to picture my life with out my kids. The pain and sadness I felt for those few minutes could never compare to the parents that have to bury their children at a young age. So tonight, before I fall asleep, I will pray for all mothers and fathers that have had to bury a child. I will say a very special prayer to little Eva. You may have only been here a short time but you have left an impact on your families lives and hearts forever:)
